Peacock Tariff Consulting publishes pricing because most of our competitors do not. Tariff exposure assessment USMCA,500-$7,500. USMCA / CUSMA stress-test $4,500-$8,500 per product. IEEPA refund filings on contingency for $50k+ recoverable; fixed fee for smaller filings. Ongoing advisory retainer $2,000-$6,000/month. Project work scoped at intake.

Most tariff consulting firms hide pricing behind “contact us” forms. We do not. The structure below covers our standard engagement types with starting-at price ranges. Every engagement is scoped at intake – your project may run higher or lower than the range based on complexity, but the ranges are honest.

Tariff exposure assessment – $2,500-$7,500

Fixed-fee, 2-week turnaround. Output: a written report covering annual duty exposure across imports, identified classification opportunities, USMCA / CUSMA qualification candidates, IEEPA refund eligibility analysis, and a prioritized action list with estimated savings.

USMCA / CUSMA RVC stress-test – $4,500-$8,500 per product

Per-product engagement. Output: full RVC calculation under both transaction value and net cost methods, Labor Value Content review where applicable, supplier certificate gap analysis, qualification confirmation or remediation plan.

IEEPA refund filing – contingency or fixed fee

For filings above $50k recoverable: contingency at 20-30% of recovery. For smaller filings: $1,500-$5,000 fixed fee per filing batch. Includes eligibility analysis, CAPE filing, and CBP information request response.

Drawback program setup and filing

First-year drawback program setup: $7,500-$25,000 depending on complexity. Ongoing claims: typically contingency or fixed-fee per claim. Most programs pay for setup within first 6-12 months.

CBP / CBSA audit response

Project basis. Typical engagement $15,000-$45,000 for a CBP Focused Assessment response; $7,500-$20,000 for a CBSA Trade Compliance Verification. Larger or more complex audits priced at intake.

CARM enrollment

Fixed fee $4,500-$9,500. Covers full enrollment, security setup, payment authorization, and broker linkage.

Ongoing advisory retainer

$2,000-$6,000/month depending on company size and engagement scope. Includes ongoing classification review, audit support, policy monitoring, regulatory alerts, and Certificate of Origin process management.

Project work

M&A tariff due diligence, FTZ feasibility analysis, scenario modeling, special-purpose engagements: scoped at intake. Typical projects $5,000-$25,000.

Frequently asked questions

Why publish pricing when most consultants do not?

Because the alternative – “contact us” forms – wastes everyone’s time and selects against SMB importers who need to budget before engaging. We would rather scope quickly with informed prospects than slow-walk a discovery call.

Are there hidden fees?

No. Engagements are fixed-fee or contingency or hourly with caps. We do not charge for time we did not work, and we do not bill for the discovery call.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes – 15-30 minute scoping calls. We use them to confirm the right engagement type and price; not as sales calls.

How do contingency engagements work?

For IEEPA refunds and drawback claims above defined thresholds, we work on contingency: no recovery, no fee. Recovery percentage is 20-30% depending on filing complexity.

Can I get a written estimate?

Yes. After the intake call we provide a written engagement letter with scope, fee, timeline, and deliverables.
